so my damn dell laptop fried (again), and it took a week to repair. so i was sitting at home, got bored and decided to do some mods... here's what i did:
- blacked out my rs4 grill
- debaged the back
- hardwired my passport
- ordered an evo intake (which should arrive any day now)

i know i know, i need pictures, just need to install the digi cam software and ill post a few

very productive week for my car... not so much for my school work tho [:@]

 

How did you hardwire the radar? I want to do that ASAP!!

I have an 03, but should be the same, right?

 

Yeah, post up a DIY on how to hardwire the Passport in a B5

 

Its not like its a real difficult task man just find power thats ignition on and run a wire to it and a wire to ground, then hide the wires, karlmax just did it in his b6 and its not any different for the b5 search for his writeup

besides i just drove to and from camden nj this weekend for a regatta, and my car is FILTHY... i'd be ashamed to show how it looks right now

so tomorrow its getting washed and then its time for a photo shoot



ps i love the sound this intake makes

 

as for the write up on the hardwire, i pretty much used this as a guide http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec76.shtml except i didnt do any drilling or anything of the sort, i just had the button come out through the panel next to the wheel

(you'll see in the pictures that follow)

i also used the fuse for the heated mirrors ( i dont remember what the write up told you to use)
