I went out to the garage this morning, and these dust streaks were on the hood. They weren't there last night. The paint under the streaks isn't scratched. I don't have a clue what it could be. Do any of you have an idea what might have caused these dust streaks?

yea, that stuff looks weird as hell, im guessing that migh have been either a bird or a rackoon but inside? is there any way someone could have broken into your garage?

It comes right off with a soft cloth, and there are no scratches under the dust streak. I cannot immagine what kind of critter could leave those marks, especially the long, parallel ones. Really strange!

 

No kidding! lol, it loooks some somebody spent about an hour on your hood with a key or a screwdriver!

That is very very strange though, if it is just dust. Contact unsolved mysteries... get some surveillance in your garage.

 

hmm.. do you have HVAC in your garage.. maybe a vent right around your car.. might have blown some dust out of it.. and .. damn thats weird.. yeah I would second that thought to call unsolved mysteries

 

Maybe a dust mop fell over on it..... nah... probably a Drakian felmner acknoid from the 3rd planet of Artheus..... sounds more plausable.

 

Dusty water that frosted/froze while you were driving and when it evaporated left the crazy pattern?
