My car has sound pretty normal ( the sound i'm normally use to ) until recently. As of last sunday whenever i'm in 1st gear and i slowly start moving, my car sounds like its running on an electric motor/electric razer. This sounds remains until i hit about 3000rpm in first gear after which i would get the normal vroom vrrom sound. Once i shift out and into higher up gears, the engine sounds normal. What could be wrong with my car? How can i check for sure whats wrong with it? Thanks in advance!

Noises are hard to diagnose. Do you feel vibration through the shifter suggesting it is gears?

My thought if it seems to be coming from under the car is either a small hole in the exhaust of something loose in the catalytic converter.
