Default weird sound???

Got a question for the audi tt experts out there... just noticed today when i had my windows down and no radio on... when i push the gas on idle or when i'm coming off first.... i hear some sort of rattle come on but as rpms go up its gone...nothing on cruising... i thought it might be an exhaust rattle but my buddy listening to it said its coming from front right side... possible sources? thanks.

It might be nothing more than the lifters or injectors, but since you just had the work done.... was the noise there before they did your Timing Belt?
