My car makes a weird sound when I turn the wheel all the way... if the car isn't moving it makes a long squeak sound until I move the car... and when I move the car while the wheel is turned all the way it makes a sound like the car is rubbing on something... what could this be and how can I fix it?

On the B5's it's right behind to the drivers side headlight, and it's a little bottle with a green cap. I'm not sure if it's different for your car though.

Check the level, you may be low.

 

ok yea I know where that is... am I checking if it has enough or if it has discoloration of some sort? what am I looking for?

Just check it. Its common for cars to make steering sounds when low on PS fluid. Is it low?

 

ight so I just checked my power steering fluid and its filled to the max... so I dont think its the power steering fluid

 

could be your pump is dying. does the wheel feel heavy?
