What is this 1n 1 i see on my odomenter....i just noticed it and it changes into miles traveled after 2 minutes of driving

any clues?

is your LCD display missing lines? It's pribably the service indicator "service in x miles"

 

no its an older B5, it says it because its Inspection 1, basically you need to change your oil.. they are set to go off at intervals, so once you get your service done, and the dealership or mechanic resets it, it will come back on in about 5000 miles, or whatever it is set too, if you get VAG-COM from Ross-Tech, then you will be able to go in and reset the service indicator, and change the intervals for when it comes on.
