I just bought a 99 A4 and in the glove box I found a small chip-like thing. I was wondering if anyone knew what it was? Thanks for any help. Here are some pictures of it:

umm. i think it is the new babonic hightech fast acting super chip. it runs about 1000 dollars. you are very lucky to find that. i have heard of people going around and placing them in random glove compartments. very very high tech. its a new marketing tool and you are a lucky winner. congrats

alright well all joking aside. what do you guys think this is exactly. is it what the stock chip looks like that they take out when you put a new one in. For all the people who have chips is that what yours looks like?
