Default what about APR

I have a B5 A4 1.8TQ (early 99 to be exact)

I looked through all the forums posted on theexhausts forum and I can't find a post that talks about APR's exhaust

I know borla and miltek and techtonicsis good but what about APR

I know that borla is 2.25" and techtonics is 2.50" and that APR is also 2.50"

I have a chip from APR and I plan on going all the way to APR stage III.

So what do you think, APR, Borla, Miltek? Which one?

O ya, what is resonated? Do i want it?

apr is over priced...

youd be better to buy a muffler then have an exhaust shop bend up the rest for you

I like the sound of my apr exhaust, although i do have to say it didnt fit like i wanted, the tips came out the back to low. But that can be fixed.

If you plan on going stg. III sometime get something bigger than 2.5. Milltek is 2.75" and I dont think there is a 3" aftermarket exhuast that isnt custom.

I have a decorsa exhaust and it is 3 inches...if you want to go big turbo its a good choice...Its kinda loud but I like it....http://www.ecodetuning.com/shop/cart...mp;p=444...its better than bending some pipes and buying a minaki muffler

scotts custom- I'm in the same boat comparing B5 catbacks for my 97 1.8TQ 5spd. It sounds like the bigger piped Milltek gives great performance and is not too loud. The resonated system will sound slightly mellower than the non-resonated milltek (and costs an extra $100). do a forum search for "resonated" for more details- there's several "resonated vs. non-resonated" threads

For $ reasons, I'm gonna try the Techtonics Borla 2.5" kit- I just hope those straight-thrus won't attract the boys in blu
