One of my co-workers just got a new B7. Black, 2.0T, unfortionatly auto. though....
Well she let me take it for a spin today.. pretty nice. Rides well, handles wonderfully, but I was a little disappointed with the pick-up.
I've heard so much about how the 2.0T is substansionally quicker than the 1.8T, maybe I was just expecting too much. Could also be the fact that it's an auto (I drive a 5sp.). But never-the-less I was hoping for a little more.

Then after I was done, I'm driving home and as I slow to go over some RR tracks I see what I think is an A6 about to pass ways with me, slowing to a crawl also. First thing that caught my eye were the wheels, then as we get window-to-window I hear it (Rumble, Rumble).
"Thats no ordinary A6" I think...
(GRRRRRRRRRRRRR)- as it drives away I catch in my mirror the "RS6" emblem..
Just hearing that thing rumble past me was the icing on the cake after driving the new B7.

Yeah the auto tranny just isn't the same as a manual. Tomorrow is gonna be my "audi-riffic" day

Are you interested in the GTG???

If so, it would be great for you to invite your 2.0T friend. It would be great to have a B7 at the GTG.

 

yeah, I think I would come to that GTG, of coarse depending on where it is.
