if u have automatic transmission forget it...me personally likes to drive fast, i have a b6 1.8t fwd stock, no mods whatsoever. on my way to work around 3am in the morning i was driving at 405 south(santa monica cali)here in socal and went head to head with a s2000, then from there we just accelerated.i know hes car is faster than mine but i smoked him we were driving around 140 miles per hour at around 5 miles i was like 1 car ahead of him. he myt be just scared to go any faster but so am i. its in the driver not just on the car, im not saying im a good driver but i know im decent enough to race. i use to race with my type r civic and killed faster cars than mine. cant find anyone anymore here in l.a to go fast on the freeway...myt be the gas prices im running 3ooorpm to save gas

 

im also new here on the audi world but im liking itmuch, so to speak. i know i have posted some noobish questions here and there. no offense to some people who drives with auto tranny, the 1.8 isnt half as bad as other people were saying, cant blame the pips who says its *** slow with an auto tranny. its decent enough if u know timing.

 

Can a chipped 1.8T at least beat a V6 Mustang?

 

Side by side hwy race 4th-5th gear pulls my wifes car would pull quickly on mine 3 times in a row!!!

We all know FWD is 12% loss and AWD is 22% loss give or take. A stock eclipse is rated a 214hp stock vs 1.8T a4 150hp.
