Default What can I do with $2,000?
I have around 2,000 to blow on performance parts...whats the best bang for my buck gents? Oh yea...I have an 01 a4 1.8t 5 speed quattro

Not a bad suggestion. You could also save up a little more and get a KO4 w/supporting junk. And suspension+clutch soon enough.

oh yeah and do the airbox mod on the top of the a4 page, and dont waste money on intake kits, i heard they dont help at all for the 1.8, sometimes they even hurt your power

Word, cuz they can suck hot air from the engine bay instead of doing their job!

Carbino is the way to go if you end up doing an intake. Very expensive for some noise and a couple hp.

I see Ko4 turbos going for like 500-700 bucks on here and like audizine...its jsut the turbo what else would I need? I want around 280-300 hp....

FMIC, exhaust, injectors, software, MAF, whatever else you need.
