i want to do some modding i drove my friends gti with a apr chip, great power for what its worth but its not my cup of tea

i have read that the k04 is nearly worthless
i would go BT but my my tranny is a tip
any ideas?

Chipping gives you the biggest increase of power. Make sure you get a new DV if you're going to chip it, though. The stock is made of plastic and doesn't get along with the new chip.
