Hi guys! I haven't been on here in a while but I really love this forum because people reply so fast! Anyways, I've had my 03 A4 1.8T quattro since Sept. 05. I didn't know anything about Audis when I bought it but my boyfriend talked me into getting it and I fell in love with it! So I still don't know much about them, but I'm learning. Anyways, I haven't been able to do a whole lot to my car because I haven't been able to afford it. I have gotten new LED taillights and a new spoiler. I wanted to do some performance stuff to it, but not too expensive. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I could do to improve the performance that isn't too expensive? I appreciate any replies!

You need to go to a tuner.
The most power/reliably for the money?
You need a chip. This will raise the boost level, and will give you the most power out of anything you can do.
You also need a better DV(diverter valve)or forged (aluminum) DV The diverter valve allows you to hold more boost reliably.
Also I suggest getting an exhaust, weather that be buying a magnaflow 2 1/4in muffler and going to your local exhaust shop to have them weld it on, or getting a full system.. That is up to you. But the muffler will allow you to enjoy the car more, Gives you more feedback (audible) and a much bigger smile on your face because of the joyous sound coming from it.
Expect to pay
$500 for the chip
$140for the Forged DV
$200- $1000 for the exaust.
You will have a lot more reponse, maybe more MPG, and a whole lot more power.
