What kind of a shifter piece...like a Ferrari style shift gate? Cuz if thats the case....im the second one in line!

Yup its pretty simple, just the mold takes a hell of a long time to get perfect and then you need a vaccum bag which i dont have. Once I have my car running, and bills paid, I will spend some money and try and make my own vaccum bag machine, and go from there

 

the plate that surrounds around your shifter

 

so it just replaces the leather boot with a cf plate notched out for the shifter?

that would be a hell of a sweet idea auto. maybe ill run it by him but no its not that. ok its simply the plate that you have to remove to actually get to the shifter itself. being that said the shifter plate surrounding the boot.
