Any forum you are on, you are going to run into the same problems. The thing is, over on AZ and AW there are alot more knowledgeable people with a lot more experience. Compare the post #s and the number of people running advanced turbo setups. Audiforums is relatively small in comparison to both of those. I think Tom is the only person on this forum that has pretty well built an engine and turbo setup from the ground up on an A4. Over on AZ and AW I guarantee there are more than a handful. Here we rely on probably 10, maybe more, to answer many of the technical questions.
Regardless, there has been a slew of stupid and redicilious posts. We are all guilty of at least one or two when we first joined, but people just aren't using the search function bottom line.

I don't want to be associated with the majority of people who drive these things. There are only a few people on this forum that I think are cool, of that I could even remotely deal with in person. I guess to me it doesnt matter, i dont care if newbs dont use the search. Unless they do it 5 times a day.
I like to give new people a help out, and hope they can make thier way from their.

actual, worhty questions always get answered here, and that's why i like it..
but when the idiots show up that is where this forum is different than others
most other forums they get flamed, made fun of, and they leave
this is great for a number of reasons....
1. the people doing the flaming are usually the long-standing members who understand mssg. board ediquite. these people are the ones that should be staying around.... making fun and flaming retarded kids is amusing... IT KEEPS IT INTERESTING .. and keeps the vets here.
2. if the retard's feeling get hurt, so what? so he goes someplace else.... GOOD.. would you rather have S4sha posting daily or the rest of us... b/c the equasion is simple ... the more "s4sha's" that are here = the fewer people s4sha annoys will be here..
..and even if we do hurt some feelings.. i'm quite sure by the next day the kid will be over it. mom proboly cooked him some oatmeal with raisins in it this morning and he was so thrilled he forgot all about it..
