i driver 75mph on the free way with no problem.but when the speed up to 80mph or more the car star vibrating (the whole car), but the steering wheel doesnot shake. when the speed goes down to 70mph and its running perfect. all 4 tires rebalancing by "good year and just tire" for 7 time. still not solve the problem.....does any one have the same thing happen before,,,,,,,,,,,,,,( i made the repairshop cut the rear brake dish before the car getting that problem, is it parsible that they dont put back the brake dish right the cause the virbration in hight speed.) my car is 03 1.8t tip...

my car was shaking when the cv joint was going out, check for a cracked or damaged boot.

 

wow man theres lots of things that could be the culprit.

Rack and Pinion
CV
bad axels
warped rotors
bad tires (low air pressure)

was it ever in an accident? Could be something in the suspension. You might have something bent in there. Did you hit any large potholes?

 

I would guess one of the rear tiresare starting to separate.

 

do you live in a cold climate? Snow in the wheels, ice? Happens to me but I dont know where you live.

 

thank u all of ur answering. i live in LA, the climate is very nice. my car was runing ferfect before changing the tire... atfer that the car is star shaking in a hight speed " 80mph". i brought to "good year" ,what they said the tire balance is off. so they balance all 4 tire a agin/...after that nothing change, it stillvirbration when i drive. untill now all 4 tire has been balanced for 7 time already. ( i step on the brake when the car is running in a hight speed and the car shake ,is therotor cause the virbrarion.?)

 

You changed the scenario. If the car shakes only when you apply the brake, then you have warped rotors.

when the car is running with hight speed it will shake, but when i apply the brake the car get more shake. when apply the brake if the car shake i know that have to be the rotor problem. what i wanna know is why the car shake when i amnot apply the brake. is that still rotor problem.

 

skake all the time no brake problem. something broke or loose, cant diagnose over the internet, be safe have it checked out ASAP.
