A while back i rolled my a4 and its now time to repaint it and im am completely torn between two colors..... the original pelican blue or repainting it santorin blue... I know all the stuff that has to be done to change the color and if thats what happens I will make sure its done right but i still cant decide which to go with so i wanted to see what color you guys think looks best

 

Here are some pix..... the light blue is my car before the wreck thats pelican blue...... The dark blue is the santorin blue on some dudes car on ebay, lol

I like both, but id keep it the same just because the cost would be cheaper (unless YOU are doing it) and i beleive it will retain its value better if you keep it the same... I forget if Car fax tells the color of a car or not, but if someone were to buy it and saw that its different, it could affect true value-that is, what its worth to whoever is buying it.

 

I like the original blue better. It's rarer and that light blue is close to the Laguna Seca blue - that cool light blue that goes on some M3's.

 

Yea im starting to lean towards the pelican blue but its still too close to make the final decision, and I am doing it so really its just the paint cost and how much labor i have to put in to it but i dont know I could still go either way

 

i take the vote back, i think the santorin blue looks good only on s4s. but i still looks ok. what u have now is nice. i would repaint it with that color.

 

Lol well it does have all the S4 body parts sooo...... it could be mistaken for one at a glance

 

Youd enjoy that wouldnt you? But imagine all the labor time involved in removing all the parts necessary to change the color of the car completely!

 

Yea i know it would be a **** ton of time, i already had the interior out once and that was a bitch so i think im gunna stick with the pelican blue
