Hi gang could those that know this in detail explain to us nobody's what are the major differences and benefits in the new 2.0T engine when it comes to TUNING? I know the biggest difference in the new design is the FSI fuel injection technology, does that weaken the engine when it comes to tuning?

I don't know if this is the answer you want to hear, but here goes.
instead of 1.8liter turbo charged, you have a 2.0liter turbo charged...
I don't know the details concerning mods, but bigger motor, more power, more torque, less turbo lag?

pretty much thats it is ur gettin more displacement and u will be able to run larger turbos on it. it will be like the dahlback 2.0t engines but alls ull have to do is forge the internals if they dont do that anymore and yes that fuel system is most likely going to put a delay of perfromance production parts as im sure its gonna take some time to figure it out
