i just got new brake pads on my car and its been a few weeks

now my brakes are squeaking on and off... do i need new brakes?

I assume they are squeeking when you step on them. Cehck to see if there is any scoring on the rotors that would indicate a hard spot or small stone. What kind of pads did you get.
