Default What to do....

So recently my 96 2.8l A4 has been having some issues with loosing coolant. I was afraid that the problem was a head gasket or cracked cylinder, but then looking for a leak today I saw that it was leaking substantially from the rear of the engine. I removed part of the air intake and saw that it was leaking from what ever this is. It looks like some kind of sensor but there appears to be a hose involved. Has any one have any advice about what to do, or have dealt with this them selves? Also is this something I can do or should I call my shop? Finally Im out of Audi Anti-freeze, so if i just use water for a couple days will I cause any damage? or will it be ok till I can get someone to work on it?
Ok now time for the photos:
This is the part of the air intake i removed;

Then the part is in here;

Then it appears to be leaking from here;

Thanks for your help guys
-Ben

that would be ur ECT sensor. u might have a faulty flange or o-ring. take it out and check.

^^ completely agree, probably only a bad seal, if your replacing it though you might as well replace the ECT sensor too since its $10 part from NAPA and the originals are prone to wear out.

i appear to have solved the problem. I pulled out the sensor and the o-ring was pretty much nonexistent. I pulled it out and it looked like pasta more or less. So for now every thing is working good, thanks for the help guys.
