I have a 2005.5 B7 [2.0t, 6m, premium, quattro, nav]. I have a the "premier purchase" with a 39month lease amortization. When that is up, I have two options:

1) Buy out for $18,700, and drop in a chip
2) Put the money towards a 2008 BMW 335xi

Obviously I'm on an Audi enthusiasts site, but I'm curious what people have to say anyway. I know in 2009 the B8 comes out, but that isn't an option since July 2008 is when my lease is up.

 

Have you driven the 335 yet? If you haven't I suggest you do, and also that you bring at least two changes of pants because you're going to need them. The 335 is a sick car, sick and twisted in the sort of evil genius way.

 

The BMW is going to be faster. However,the styling (interior and exterior) and everything, other than the speed, i likeabout the A4 better.

 

A4 = one turbo and a soft top
335 = twin turbo and a dead sexy folding hard top

As big of an Audi fan I am, I'd take the 335 over an A4 any day. However, this doesn't include the RS4

Can buy a new 2009 a4 in what, sept, oct 08?
I'd find a temporary vehicle for a few months, maybe a short term lease, and get the B8.
They are really going to be nice.
Dont know much about that particular bimmer, but the next gen audi is going to be a great all around package.

 

im hearing excelltent things about the new A5, you might want to pick up a beater car\truck since everyone needs a beater and rock taht for abotu 5 months save up like crazy and put a crazy DP on a B8
