sounds good to me its awd and 5spd. price is descent too.
ask if the timing belt has been done because it does have high miles!

 

miles are pretty high, but if all sched. maint. has been done then you should be okay.

price isnt too bad, im sure you could talk it down.

is having the 1.8T 4 cylinder a priority to you? you said you wanted that and if you want to do any modding, this 2.8 v6 will be somewhat limited. it sounds like youve been really trying to find the right one for a while but you havent had much luck...so if you really need the car i wont give you the "dont jump the gun" lecture. but really if its not a huge deal and you plan on doing any modding, i say wait for the right 1.8t maybe with a little less miles.

ya i know that i wanted the 1.8t because i was thinking of maybe just doing a chip upgrade and minor stuff like that. but i guess ill just take the extra 20 hp on the 2.8 and be fine.

Does anyone know any cheap mod's for this car that would make it faster?

Dealers usually quote around $1,000-$1,500. Independent mechanics can do it for less, I had mine done, with water pump, tensioners, etc all replaced for $820.
