so im looking to get new tires....i hava a 1996 a4 2.8 quattro .....im thinking about bridgestone potenza (re960as pole position) just if you needed to know...

I'm getting those exact ones late this year, currently running crappy goodyear eagles at the moment. Michelin Pilot Sport is great but way too expensive. My friend runs Avon TechM550s, they're pretty good tires and cheap too.

i just put a set of pirelli p6 all seasons on my car. they were dirt cheap so i couldn't say no. they've been really good so far, definitely good on rainy roads and tight turns. you can find them fairly cheap at full price. it was these for 75 a piece, or paying double or more, so...

 

yes i wish i could get the pilot sports but yes the money issue...thanks everyone i will let you know what tires i chose to go with
