I have a 98 silver a4 and want to get some tint, I think it would look bad A**. I was just wondering what you guys thought about that look.

 

go onto audiworld. i believe it's in the FAQ section. There are a ton of pictures posted in various paints/interriors along with the tint percentages.

 

dude...u'r car's begging for some tints...check u'r state law about the allowed tint %...

 

My car is beige (I guess, I never quite figured out the real color lol) and it has tints, not very dark. I think it looks good.





The pics don't exactly do it justice, the reflections make the tint look a lot darker than it actually is.

I like tint as long as it's not too dark. I think it looks tacky when people go too dark. I like 25 percent.

 

25%.... thats a charcoal tint. stock on suv's and trucks... actually specifically made for suv's and trucks. its nice... not to dark not to light, but will fade in about 2 - 3 years... where as if he gets 15% or 30% sp (partial titanium and charcoal) it will look better, bein more reflective and should last longer as well.... but whatever floats your boat or finds your lost remote.... i'd rather not roll around with purple windows.

 

I have 30% on my a4 love the look, plus you can screw with people at nigth because they cant see you.

 

I'm pretty sure if I do tint, which would be in a couple months, I would go 25-30%. I was just making sure you guys didn't think it looked ricy or unclassy looking. Thanks a lot.

 

yeah... i have 35% all around... i like it but im goin 5% in a few months... limo all around.... now what! can't see me during the day.... and good luck at night! wha ha ha
