I prefer the V6 myself but since your planning on adding power the 1.8 is a better choice. But then again you want something reliable so its a tough decision. I say if you got the money for modding plus maintenance go with the 1.8. If your broke (or soon to be) then stick with the 2.8 and don't bother getting a supercharger, it won't be worth it. Ah hell just get the 1.8T!

How much hp will I get from the Ko4 Upgrade? Along with a nice Exhuast, and Intake?

i have an 01 2.8, and within the week shall have a 00 1.8t


when i first went to get the audi i have now i figured "oh... 20more hp... i'm def going with that. hmmm i have to drive in traffic every once in a while... tiptronic it is!" and i have been regretting both choices ever since

the 2.8 IS more reliable, as it doesnt have a turbo and the more moving parts, the more that can go wrong. also you gotta realize its a v6... a kinda weak v6 ... but i get ahead of myself, its gas mileage is worse than a 1.8t

but 1.8t will getcha better gas mileage, and will be more fun to drive with a few mods

either way just do me this favor, and whatever you get... get a standard transmission!!!
