Default What to expect

Hi I am lucky enough to have evolution motorsprts about 20 minutes from my house and am planning on modding my 1.8t quattro a4. I am doing the GIAC pump program flash, div valve upgrade, evoms soon to be released v-flow intake, borla exhaust and then a big injector program for now instead of a k-04(just for now). I want to know from those of you who have already modded their cars what kind of improvements to expect. I am hoping to whoop up on any ricer that crosses my path. Please feed me your knowledge and experiences

I have a B5, I sat down for about an hour with the actual guy who designed the v-flor for our motors. no price is available yet and the patent is still pending but he says in test vehicles the increase was about 20-25 horses pretty impressive, he said the improvement would be "like turbocharging the turbo" He is gonna keep me posted and I'll keep you posted.

It is designed specifically for our car and will according to him fit like a glove. Everything was fabricated from the ground up to give us the little extra bit of hp

I am just telling you what the guy said, he says that the v-flow is going to push a lot more then a regulare intake, he explained it to me with diagrams and everything whether or not he is telling the truth is unkown to me, but the way he explained it made sense to me.

You should be able to beat most ricers with a stock A4 since their mods consist of chrome, spinner hubcaps, stickers and ridiculous spoilers.

You sure its a B5??? I thought there was no big injector upgrade for the B5??? Intake will never give you 20hp, ever. Sounds like this salesman is slightly full of crap. Give me this guys #, he and I need to talk i think...
An intake doesnt "push" air it sucks air, and if it sucked enough air in to generate 20hp (like a forced induction system/turbo does), youd run way lean and kill your engine. I want to hear more about this injector upgrade, im serious, give me this guys name/number.
