What the heck is this?
 

I found this near my 2002 A4 3.0 and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is...
I posted a front and back shot of the part and the part number on the object is 8E0 863 876 B
......the 3rd digit might be a O or a 0. my car seems to be running fine. can any of the experts
here help me?

christ that seems impossible, but i dont know of any other audis in my area let alone at my house. i should have that checked on probably. seems pretty damn weird. thanks for the help...you guys know your shit.

Jestnomen...is it even possible for this to fall out? i had my car in for servicing last week (for a radio problem and a power seat problem)....i wonder if it somehow came from another car or something you think? would i see any sort of symptoms when driving my car if i dont have this sound absorber? thanks man
