SO i had been tossing sorund replacing the center section of my borla exaust that holds the resonator with a straight pipe so i can switch it in and out.
Well, today i did that. jacked up my car, took off the borla center section. wire tied up the pipe off the engine and drove it around
WOW our cars unmuffled just straight through sound SOOOO AMAZING! it sounded mean as hell
i could even hear the turbo spool down as well as up!! it was SICK

so i then decided to do some work. i took the center section into a muffler shop adn for $40 they bent a 2.25" section of aluminized steel to match the center section. i got it in and damnnn, it sounds soo much nicer.

i would recommend this to ANYONE! it was eazy, quick, and non distructive. enxt i will get a cutout for the center section.

i also talked to borla and this doesnt void the million mile warrenty because i am not doing any damage to the borla pipes.

my only complaint is that since i dont have the brackets welded on yet, it rattles a little, but thats no big deal. the pipe clamps hold it fine until i weld some brackets on

Yeah, a few days ago, I disconnected my whole exhaust at the downpipe and it sounded real mean!!

 

oh, my friend also took a sh!tty vid with his phone, so ill try and get it up (he took vid of no exaust. ill take a better vid with the exaust

 

I really need to put a remote cutout in my exhaust, now that my mid-muffler is gone.

 

yea i did that for a while it was a little loud sometimes but it did sound good

 

ya, under engine breaking its kinda ound. one road i took has these low smooth speed bumps every 100 feet or so for about half a mile and it was jsut 2nd gear accelerate, decelerate, it kinda hurt my ears after a while

i hella drove by 2 ricers today. couldnt race em beuase of traffic but my noise defanitly trumped their fart cans (that was when it was compleetly unmuffled
