Default what if...
what if I get a chip for my '98 A4 for like $500 now to get around 200hp, but then decide to put a k04 on the car? Will the chip be worthless then?

my guess is yes...giac gives discounted sw upgrades, i think.

if you want a K04 then go with GIAC, you can get it rechipped for $25.

what year is your car?

the GIAC dealer in SLC said he would do the k04 file for $25 since i am already a GIAC customer. that was like a year ago though...
