Hi everyone we have just purchased our first Audi well we pick it up on Sunday and was just wanting to know what this light is on the right hand side of the speedo ! Ive attached a pic so you can see !

We have bought the car off ebay so cant see what the warning light is !

that's a low gas warning

 

I have not picked the car up yet ! So i have no manual ! Low gas i take that is the air con then ?

 

i think the one in the speedo is the battery light? hold on ill go check mine

EDIT: ok so ur gauge cluster is a lil different, you must have an different year (i have a 98). The light in the middle is the low fuel light, then one in the speedo is either the battery or check engine light (its kinda fuzzy but i can tell its a square/rectangle, and it kinda looks like a lightning bolt in the middle...which would make it the CEL) Idk how people can buy cars on ebay, it seems so shady sometimes.

 

Yeah i know what your saying about ebay ! But its just as risky buying any second hand car ! But thanks for that ill check it out first !

 

WTF are you talking about what dowes the gas light have to do with A/C ?

 

I thought he ment gas for the air con not gas as in fuel ! I clearly stated that the loight was on the right hand side of the speedo not the orange light that is central

 

wtf gas for the a/c your not the smartest brick in the wall are you

 

I think hes talking "Freon" gas... but I dont think any car has a light/warning for low Freon... the only way you really know is if your AC doesnt work...

but yea...
