what rim is this...
That is the Sportec monobloc 10's. Here is their website: http://www.sportecusa.net
I'm not sure of all the finishes it comes in, but they will be hard to find in the states as there are only a few Sportec dealers in the US. It's an outstanding wheel and one of my personal favorites for the B6 A4 bodystyle. They run around $600-850 per wheel depending on where you find them and what size you're looking for. I would have bought these, but I ended up going with 18" CSL's that I found and liked better. If you do a search for "Sportec and Audi" online you should be able to find it. Sportec does a lot of work on european cars, mostly porsche, but they are definitely high quality manufacturers. You can also look at Neuspeeds new forged wheels they have come out with that look similiar to this style. They are almost the same price thou, so if you want the Sportec's I'd just hold out and keep seaching. HTH's and good luck!

Thank John i appreciate the information i went to the sportec website and they are a touch pricy. but man are they sweet rims.
does anyone know of a similar rim to this look in a cheaper range. 18 x 8.5 - gunmetal?

that is actually perfect thank you for the help... on the website it is only listed as 18 x 8. i was under the impression for the b6 you need 18 x 8.5 does it matter? and does anthracite sound fancy for gunmetal?
now when you say off set you mean have a wider tire in the rear? doesnt that defeat the purpose and look of an AWD?
if that is doable would the bolt pattern on a 3 series be the same has an a4? i still have mille miglia 18's from my 3 series sitting in the garage. they are major offset though because of the RWD.
