HI folks.. first time here

Here is my situation.. my 1993 Mazda Protege now looks like a big pile of rusty metal scrap so i need a other car. Im interested by having an A4, i saw a 1996 A4 2.8 12v with 132k miles / 212 kms for $5500CAN (maybe $5k dealed) (~$6000USD), no probs, look great (ext blue, int gray) except some minor scratches and the oxygen sensor have to be changed. The problem is that i saw on this forum that the 2.8l is reliable but pratically not tunable and you can get more hp with a chipped 1.8t. I dont have the money for a $8000 1997 1.8t. What should i do, buy this blue baby and save money to buy an 1.8t later (next year) ? Is this 1996 A4 easy to re-sell ?

yes the 2.8 has few options for tuning and the 12v 2.8 lacks the only major mod. that the 30v has, the PES supercharger.

if you are looking for a car to mod, save for the 1.8t
