Default What Should I Do?

Alright well I currently have a 1999 A4 1.8T with about 130,000 miles on it. I keep finding things that I don't like about it and the engine and transmission seemsas ifthey are wearing out. I have started looking into a 2003 or 2004 A4 1.8T with about 30,000 miles on it to purchase. I really like the look of the 99 that I have butI don't know if I should put a lot of money into the 99 or just get a newer, cleaner, and with less miles 2003 or 2004. The 99 has its ups and the 03 or 04 has its ups also. I don't know what to do. I am only 17 so I could either put all the money I earn into this car or into a newer car payment for the next 4 to 5 years.. Please Help! Thanks.

You have to remember you will be able to find flaws on any car that you don't like, that's just part of the game. If I were you I would look into the newer car.

Ya it just seems that I would be happier with an 03 as long as I look it over real good. I made the mistake of just glancing atthe 99 that I have now.

Im17 as welland I just got my dads old 2003 A4 cuz he got a 2005 S4 a few months ago and he and i have done sooo much tomy A4already. There are so many parts you can upgrade on the1.8L turbos, its awesome. If you can afford it i would strongly look into that 2003 if i were you. You wont be disappointed

The 2003 is newer with fewer miles so in theory you should have fewer problems with parts breaking/wearing out.

That's what I was thinking. I will have to wait another year until I can buy an 03 so by then they will have a few more miles but the price would come down a little.. I'm pretty sure that I am going to go that route.
