i just got a 1997 AUDI A4 QUATTRO and im looking to mod it.....what should be the first things i should do....thanks

Depends on budget, motor type, and go versus show.

For under a grand 2.8. Exhaust, intake.

Did you do a timing belt yet?

 

I would say chip it if its a 1.8T, and deff some wheels and suspension. Oh and update all the lighting like someone else mentioned.

if your looking for quality you might want to schell out some more $, but thats just this newbs opinion....

 

First thing you should do is get it right.

Make sure TB is done.

Change oil, brake fluid, check anti-freeze, ect.

Make sure brakes are good, yada-yada-yada......make sure everything on car is in good working order before you start to mod. Otherwise, you may be spending money on mods that you need to spend on the car just to get it right.

Then, once you are sure thats all done, get a chip, then exhaust.

Then ask us some more questions AFTER you search for the answers.
