I would consider it a reprimand and can only get better ( ban them?? we enjoy them ) thats what makes this site great

It would help a different memeber with a B6 would be nice enough to post a pic of the same spot on their engine/tranny so we can get an idea.

It was a joke, nobody gets banned for thread jacking, and since there was an oil filter in the pic, it was sort of on topic anyway. Dont worry about it. Although if you have a B6, you could totaly redeem yourself by posting a pic of the same general area of the eingefor comparison.

 

no one will ban you im sure or at least I hope not, the holes are counter sunk to hide the bolts which makes the structure stronger and nothing more, im still out on the larger oil filter but will check it out
