happens alot , id get in the car and the carpet is soacked wet, happens alot when raining but sometimes when just cold...?

this is an australian car so driver side is other way if it makes a diff, and heater is working fine... i loose about 1mm coolant per month so doubt its that

 

its the top of the door, because its a large window its weak and the seals fails you just need to bent the top back a little so the seal works

 

ill try it but why is it only the carpet is wet nothing else?

 

might be the sunroof drain, happend to me in my other car, the drainage system gets clogged with crap it gets backed up and then just pissing in the car..

 

its happened to me many times its a weakness in the design

 

the sunroof one is an old one and was sorted years ago with wider drains (not that it helped those parking under trees) but the door one is relevant to today's problems

 

what year is the guys car though, i had the problem in my 99

 

so did I that's why I mentioned it

 

believe me its a common problem with most new cars or large door opening and well known to the trade but not a recall because its what people wanted by design and 4x4 suffer the worst

 

that sucks
