im looking in to getting a custom exhaust done but not sure what muffler to use....was looking at magnaflow but what about borla or something else.....also should i use the stock resonator or take it off and use a round muff..thanks

i have a magniflow muffler, 3" in 3" out, its not a fart can and its sounds sweet

is the stock exhaust diameter on a 98.5 2.8 2.25"? I might throw a magnaflow muffler on there to get some sound goin.

i would also remove the mid muffler or what ever it is, its heavy and makes the car slower

meh, im not worried about the weight, im never gonna have a beastly 2.8, i just wanna make it sound good.

ooops i didnt mean weight, i should of been more specific i ment it is more for the exhaust to travel throught so it would make it slower not the weight factor

all i wanna kno is if the 2.8 pipe diameter is 2.25", cause thats the inlet diameter for the magnaflow mufflers. anyone kno?
