Well.. i let my brother drive my car for the day, because i had to borrow his pickup truck, and he eats a sanwich in it. Now it smells like garlic and i hate it!

He broke my #1 rule.. NO FOOD

okay.. what is the best way to maintain the new *Leather* smell of a brand new car..

Ive always wiped down the interior with a damp cloth to somewhat clean it, but how can i go about protecting the leather without making the car smell bad?

get some sort of ionic air cleaner

There are a bunch of them though and they do a pretty decent job at cleaning out nasty smells, providing the root cause of the smell has been cleaned up (no sandwich under the seat etc :P)

 

get the new car smell air freshner. I clean the interior of my car once a week, and i just use black magic leather interior spray, Its almost the same stuff as the tire shine stuff they make. I would buy the expensive cleaning products if i didn't waste all my money on mods.

 

i used meguires vinyl cleaner on my seats and now the car smells brand new

 

my fav is meguiar's interior detailer.

 

I love this stuff, best smell in the world, next to burning Klotz 2 stroke oil.
