whats faster stock a 1.8t or a 28v6? and whats ezer and cheaper to sup up?? i was into 5.0 mustang for a while but now im looking to get a late 90's a4 i want a car that will be fast maybe mid13 1/4 's but still have some top out about 150ish or more and some style and handling. mustangs are ugly but i had some fast ones. but now its time for an a4. i mag a mig welder and a big *** mill so i can make alot of my own parts. well let me know what you guys think and what i should get.

what are some of the thing that go wrong with a used a4? and what parts do you start braking when making power? like at what power will i start braking big stuff?

well the 1.8T is slower stock but the 1.8T can be made faster with a few mods such as chip/exhaust

 

what kinda 1/4 times do they run??

 

whats the stock hp of each?? the 1.8 is somewhere around 150hp right?

 

like 175-180 for 1.8t

 

It depends on the year b5s are like 150 but b6's are like 175

 

97-00 it was 150 hp i believe and 01 was 170? 02+ was im not sure. arent the 1/4 times in the 16s? stock for the 1.8?

if he wants a 13 second car..... he is going to have to go to a s4 i think. he is going to have to put so much money into a 1.8t to make it 13 seconds, not worth it imo. if i were you man i would save up for the s4.

 

some guy on audizine just got his k04 to run 13.9 so anything larger then ko4 will get u in 13's with a good tune
