What's a good turbo?

I'd like to know if a GT30R is a good turbo? For my 1.8t 2000 audi I want
good power not wanna go 2 krazy on a stock block. I got like 96k on the motor
any advice would b good thanks.

It's a good turbo, but it's too big for a stock motor. It won't spool until very late in the rpm band and then it will most likely cause your connecting rods to go through your block.

With a stock motor the largest you will want to go is a GT28R or GT2871R.

a k04 is a good option man but if you want some really nice power check out the gt2871rs kit from renn-art i think its fairly reliable but you will have to mess with it more than if it was the k04

KO4 WITH GIAC PC16 NICE POWER.YOU WILL BE HAPPY.

Agree. If you go with the basic K04 programming 5bar FPR, you don't need injectors or FMIC. However, a cat back exhaust is recommended. FMIC while not 'Needed' would be helpful.

AWE has a kit with the 5BAR, K04 and programming for about 1600-1700 dollars
