personally, i dont know why you want these mods. not really effective/meaningful mods on your car. i bet if you quit spending money on stuff like cf hoods and s4 cams and all that junk, you could either sell your car and get something newer, less mileage, and more moddable. just my take. no point in the gauges either homie...

Yeah definately no point in the boost guage... oil pressure is a good guage to have usually... but your car will tell you once oil pressure is dangerously low.
And yeah... quit trying to make your 12V fast! Let it goooooo. Also, maybe it's different for a 96... but OEM plugs for my 2000 1.8T ARE NGK "double platinums"

You should do the "Put your car in the classifieds, and buy a 1.8t/30v" mod. I know it would be hard to find a 1.8t in decent shape for what you could get for your 12v, but just save the money your trying to spend on pointless mods for a better a4, or for a house, or for anything thats not your 12v.

I mean either a 1.8t or 30v v6 for supercharging.

I dont see why it would be. I see on cars all the time. Well, that is on imports. But I dont see why it would be dangerous at all

The 12V is able to produce the same power as the 30V when Supercharged.
just on 12V you will get a bit more boost, like 1 or 2 PSI.
however it will mean nothing if you think more boost...... yak, yak, yak.....
Oh man I need to write a whole article about that too. well bandaid is all out so you will have to wait.

The oil gauge should be electrical not mechanical. if electical then it no dangerous at all. Boost gauge is a bit stupid to have if all you have is vacum. and you will get lame readings out of it.

Dude, I dumped 5000.00 in repairs and maintenance. You think imma sell it just to get a 1.8T? No thanks, those have more problems then any.

At this POINT SELLING IT... will never happen.

I paid 5000.00 for car. and another five for repairs/maintenance.

SO i should sell it? Get liek 4000 and lose 6000? no thanks man.

Anyways anyone else wanna give pros cons to pulleys?
