Wheel lug shank size
I just bought some wheels for my 2001 1.8t and am in search of some lug nuts since the factory black ones arent quite cutting it. Anyways, lookin around on ebay i saw there are 4 different shank sizes - 23mm, 24mm, 27mm, and 30mm. Anyone know why there is a difference in sizes and if it would make an impact as far as tightness and fitment for the wheels\lugnuts? Also along with the shank sizes, there was another size involved, the thread sizes, 12x1.5 or 14x1.5, does anyone have any idea which thread sizes are for which audi? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated..... here is the link i was looking at if it isn't blocked.....

Contact the supplier of the wheel.

RE: Wheel lug shank size
Also make sure the wheel fits tight on the hub. Audi wheels are hub centric and need to fit tight around the hub. If the wheel doenst fit tight onto the hub on your car you need to get the proper spacer for the wheel to fit tight on the hub. That should also be availble from the wheel manufacturer. Be sure to use the wheel manufacters specified hardware as mentioned above.
