oh but that was a series where incredible strain was put on the wheels (not that those things should go wrong with any wheel, yet alone one as expensive as HREs). Do you just think with regular driving that those things would happen?

If you're gonna spend HRE money, go for some like those mentioned in that thread. Fikse, Forgeline, Kinesis, BBS, OZ Custom Application.
I haven't heard anything bad about iForged wheels, but I have a feeling they're all show no go as well.

3 letters....BBS....you cant really go wrong wiht wheels that will set you back 500 each....race proven technoloogy is good proven technology...

discountedwheelwarehouse.com just check their and c.... there are really good brands and they specify by car like tirerack.. but more of a selection... and quite nice rims.

I dunno...if you really want HREs, no one is gonna stop you. But if you read other posts on that thread, somebody posted about how their HREs were ruined from corrosion caused by salt buildup. So if you live where there is salt (winter roads, or close to ocean) then they probably aren't a good idea, anyway. IMO, there are other wheels that look better than HREs for nearly the same money, usually less, that don't have a consistent record of failing.
