Here's another article I found. They say the new A4 will be in 2008, but they usually hit the dealers the year before.

yup next gen called A5 , 2008 if everything goes right
looking forward to seeing that , unlike the price tag

That's the A5. The last I read, goes on sale late 2007. It is supposed to be priced between the A4 and A6. Go figure.
