DV for a for a 96 1.8 tq I will probably only run a chip, exhaust & snub mount so I dont even know if one is totally necessary. I need to buy all of that stuff from the states as it is very expensive here in Australia. Anyone give me some websites for these items.

 

go to the dealership and get the 710N dv (~35 bucks american)...if they don't know what a 710N is when you ask them, just tell them it's the stock DV for the 225hp TT

 

is that 225whp? Is that the most it can handle or will it take a little more?

it's probably good for a little more than 225....the 710N is sufficient if you aren't planning on going with a big turbo upgrade

haha, any turbo upgrade will most likely require a stronger dv like a bailey or forged 007

WELL..... I just got of the phone to a GFB dealer here.. . . . 395 US for a Hybrid BOV ....... I'm gonna buy all my parts from the US. I dont mind waiting 2 weeks if it saves me a few hundred bucks. I'm not tight, but f.uck me thats pricey. . . . . . It wasn't even a DV!!! Forge 007 here I come.
