where can i find

looking for lower door ( trim, molding, skirt) that rubber or plastic crap that cracks and fall all the time... cant find cuz dont know the name anybody???,,,,.

whoa.... havnt heard from you in a long time.... and are you talking on the outside of the door, or inside of the door... im guessing your not talking about the sideskirt or else you prob would have said that... try to be more specific... if its the sideskirt, you can find that at any junkyard

Dealer or ECS tuning. They are about 30 dollars last time I checked.

Having the lower door trim is just annoying. It happens to be a flaw with the B5's. The problem is that the trim is attached to the car with metal clips. If you live in an area that is heavily salted in the winter months, the salt deteriorates the metals clips very quickly and if you close the door too hard, the clips with break and then your trim will start to detach from the car. I'm not sure about BMW's, but I know that Mercedes attaches trim using plastic clips rather then metal clips for this particular reason.

I live in Maine (heavily salted roads in the winter) and during the 4 years I had my B5 I had to replace 7 pieces of that door trim. You can get it from any dealer from $30-$40 and it would be $50-70 if you wanted them to install it for you.

trim or side skirt..think it's the samte right?? im in mass and work in NH, very salt...it sucks..i washed my car yesterday and it's all dirty from salt already... i'll go after a dealer them, or a junk...thanks!!
