I've searched with no luck, sorry if others have asked same questions. I am looking for an A4, just wondering where everyone else got theres? Autotrader, cars.com etc? Audiforums? Any info would help. Year, Model and Price would be nice too. Thanks.

 

got mine at a small local dealer who wasnt trying to make a huge proffit.. I got lucky as far as getting from a dealer goes.. Does your city have an Auto classifieds section in the news paper? Youll typicaly pay the least amount from a private sale, and most at the Audi Stealership. Im sure you already knew that though... Auto trader is good stuff too.

 

I found mine online on one of the auto-search sites, I forget which. I was casually looking, not planning on buying, when I came across an '02 A4 1.8T Quattro with under 15K miles at a local Lexus dealership. I went there, took a test drive, then drove to the next town over to check out an '01 S4, which was long gone already, so I went back to the Lexus place and the rest is history.

 

Yeah i was leaning more towards private sales vs. dealerships, but if the price is right i would go for it. I've been searching for A4's for awhile now with no luck, how long did it take everyone? What were some of the deals you got, did you give up trying to the best deal and settle for more money? Also how much did you pay for the car, what model, miles?

 

I got mine at Stevens Creek Audi in San Jose, CA. I went there just looking, honestly I was going to get a Jetta or Passat originally..... but got them to take 10K off the sticker price, so I just bought it there. Plus they screwed something up on one of my uncles cars, so I got lots of good freebies over the years and really great service from them...... i kinda miss them actually.

 

i got ripped off at a local used car dealership... but i have bad credit.. and they were one of the few places that had really nice cars and would actually finance me.. but then again.. even after i got 3k knocked off the asking price .. i still paid a couple thousand too much..

autotrader is your friend.. use it..

 

Im looking for either a Jetta 1.8TM or an A4 1.8TQM, perfer the A4...really want the AWD. Anyway i live in the philly area and looking for suggestions or maybe what worked for other people. Anyone know of good VW forums that i should check out?

 

Im lookin for a 99.5/00 1.8TQM...what have you guys paid, how many miles etc?

It was already priced that much so it was kind of hard to bargain them down.. But they did put on new tires for me to seal the deal.
