well its xmas time again, and i was thinking about a sirius satellite radio for my a4. i was thinking about getting the starbase since its small and i dont want to take up a lot of space with a satellite radio. anyway i was trying to think of a good place to mount it, and was wondering where some of you guys mounted yours

and if you had any pictures it would be huge

 

dont have it in yet....but i have a 2001 a4 and im gettin the xm roady 2 (mainly cuz it lights up red and will match the rest of the car) but i plan on mounting it in that space between the dome light and the sunroof and ill run the wires down...just a suggestion up to u tho

 

right now my skyfi2 is on the vents which looks totally cheesy....so i think i'm moving it either inside thhe glove box or to the right side of the steering column. wires are all hidden though

 

why dont you upgrade your HU.. and get one that is Sat ready?

 

I picked off an OEM xm module off ebay for CHEAP. Dealer wanted like $500 bones. I couldn't find a decent place to mount the roadie in my B7.

 

i just bought the sirius sportster a couple months ago and it's been amazing. i mounted it in the bottom left hand corner of the windshield right by the dash. i think it works out nicely there once you get your presets set and you aren't going to be flipping through the stations constantly. i'll post a pic tomorrow.
