where is the fuel filter located?

Default where is the fuel filter located?

i looked on some past threads but couldnt find out where my fuel filter is at. i've been told to replace it and now i just need to find where its at and how to do the job. any info is helpful. thanks i have a 98' a4 2.8l 30v quattro manual ... who makes a good filter also ?

OEM filter.

IIRC it is wedged above the driver's side front edge of the gas tank.

hey thanks duhvinci ... i think i'll tackle the job myself now .... any clue how long its supose to take

too lazy to click link.. but i thought it was on passenger side above gas tank.. am i mistaken?
