Default Where to get my FMIC

Okay I'm chipped with a DV and intake. My exhaust, High flow cat and K04 are on the way. Now what is a good place to get a FMIC. I am looking to get one tommorow and will probably have everything installed by New Years if all goes to plan. X-mas might end up screwing me and causing me to wait for stuff but yeah. What sites are good ones. I tried a search both on the forum and yahoo, google the works and can not find anything good. Please help I want to get these ordered and shipped ASAP. Thanks.

well... there are a couple options

greddy has one for about $1k
apr has one as well for the same price

ecstuning has just the core for about $250....

there is a diy article on a $150 FMIC setup thats based offa buying a $80 core off ebay.

some ppl say that fmics are best to spend the money on, and some say that you can pull an ebay fmic and diy for cheap and have no problems
tomritt actually did the ebay fmic (i think he used a spearco core) and then just homebrewed the mounting and stuff

the only thing thats nice about the expensive fmic is that they are meant to fit under the bumper with little or no cutting.... if you go ebay or custom, youre probably going to have to cut a lot

Man a G!! Anything else I know I have seen some other ones I just cant remember where. I have 5G's to drop. My exhuast and HFC together were about $900 and my K04 with install kit was $780 That leaves me at $3230 also $350 for a timing belt kit that I am getting tommorow cuz I'm at 83K miles. Thats $29750. Keep in mind fees for install as I am not your average handyman mechainc in my spare time. If I go GREDDY thats $1970. AAAHHHH the money it goes so fast Oh wait I just paid $380 for my next 2 months of insurance $1590. Well I get paid another $860 this Tue. So im at $2450. I guess its not that bad. I don't know. So many other things I wanna do. For a second I thought about the saving all my money and not modding my car at all and...................okay so I'm lying but damn we put a lot money into our cars. Anything else guys??

Well at least you got your finances all planned out. Make sure to budget some money for entertainment expenses (lap dances at the strip club).

Ha ha ha. strip clubs are pointless. If I wanted to get teased I would go to a party atleast there you actaully have a chance at nailing the teaser. And its free. Bonus if you are partying with with girls you know who strip [sm=happy046.gif]
